Hi, I’m Angie Gray

— a New Zealand–trained physiotherapist specialising in pelvic health and neurological rehabilitation.

I graduated from AUT in 2009 and have worked across a variety of settings, including acute and rehabilitation care, in New Zealand, Melbourne, and the UK (London). My experience includes leading a physiotherapy service on a busy stroke unit in London and working for a private neuro-rehabilitation company in the UK with advanced technology (Exoskeleton, bionic leg).

After becoming a mum in 2020, I developed a deep interest in pelvic health. I noticed how little guidance many women received regarding recovery, safe return to exercise, and long-term well-being. Since then, I’ve completed advanced training in the UK and New Zealand, including the Mummy MOT and specialised courses with SAND’s and Dr Melissa Davidson. I now support women through every stage of life, from pregnancy and postpartum recovery to perimenopause and menopause, helping them restore confidence, strength, and function.

In addition to pelvic health, I provide rehabilitation for people living with neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, neuropathies, and brain or spinal injuries, including pelvic health assessments tailored to this group.

Outside of work, you’ll find me running, cycling, or chasing after my two boys at our local playground.

I see clients in my Birkenhead clinic and offer home visits across Auckland.

My Approach

Core Connect is guided by clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, holistic care, and collaboration. I combine the latest research with extensive clinical experience to deliver treatment tailored to your individual needs and goals. I take a personalised, dynamic approach — there’s no one-size-fits-all. Each program is designed around what matters most to you, keeping your goals at the centre of care.

Movement is at the heart of my practice. Drawing on strength training principles, pilates, yoga, and breathwork, I use creative and varied approaches to help you build confidence, resilience, and long-term health.

I see the whole person, not just the symptoms. By addressing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of health, sessions are both engaging and compelling, grounded in compassion and evidence-based techniques.

Above all, I value connection and empowerment — working alongside you to create meaningful, lasting change so you feel informed, capable, and confident in managing your health independently.
